It’s 4 p.m., and a brand new restaurant is opening at this very second. Say hello to Bostonia Public House, located at 131 State Street, the former Kitty O’Shea’s, in the Financial District. (Here’s a peek inside the space from earlier this week.) Kyle Ketchum is executive chef; he’s also an instructor at Le Cordon Bleu and an alum of Spiced Pear in Newport, Rhode Island, along with other restaurants around the country. He’s serving a “refined rustic” menu that includes tater tot poutine, berbere spiced pork ribs, and braised lamb pasta. Bostonia Public House is open from 11:30 a.m. until 2 a.m. daily.
